Dennis Hart founded Apex Media in late 1993 with a team of four, and a vision to help local telecasters solve their problems and accomplish their jobs more efficiently and effectively. Dennis' vision included making full use of the automation abilities the computer affords, to handle tasks normally relegated to antiquated by-hand procedures. Dennis and his team hit the ground running with first full-year sales of 8 million dollars.
Today, we work with nearly 1,000 broadcasters across America, and employ nearly 50 experts in media sales and problem solving. Our total sales exceed half a billion dollars and we're going strong.
Traditional broadcast TV is still the primary medium for paid programming, but cable and satellite TV now play a significant role in reaching 90 million American households. Plus, the Internet holds great potential for delivery of shows to broadcasters, communication with our clients, and consumer-sales synergy with television.
