Broadcasters often want to buy goods or services from vendors, but don't have sufficient cash in their current budget. Apex can help a vendor overcome this problem and complete a sale, by arranging a barter solution with the broadcaster and vendor.
Unlike some trade companies, we do not charge costly "multiples" of the bartered value (except in rare cases where we must advance cash). Instead, we charge only a 15 percent commission on the vast majority of our transactions. We were the first to do this, and revolutionized the industry.
We have helped vendors sell all kinds of goods and services, including travel, entertainment, credit cards, car leases, studio sets, news consulting, research, syndication, billboards, hot-air balloons, local-marketing products, computers, and even flu shots.
We call our bartering method a BillPayer account. Here's how it works:
The broadcaster tells us they want to trade for your product or service, and we set up a BillPayer account for them. This is like a checking account for unbudgeted expenses.
The broadcaster provides us with airtime to sell. We sell it and place the funds (minus commissions) in their BillPayer account. We take care of all accounting and collection costs. Once the airtime is sold, we guarantee payment to all parties.
The broadcaster sends us your invoice, and we send a check to you (usually within 24 hours). The amount is subtracted from their BillPayer account.
